Maintenance Technician:

We are seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to help with our growing business needs and infrastructure. The ideal candidate for this position has a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment. This ideal candidate will routinely think outside the box to solve problems quickly and understands what impeccable customer service is all about. Qualified candidates must be willing to take initiative and be able to work independently as necessary to help repair all sorts of mechanical equipment and performing technical and system diagnostics as required.

Responsibilities:

• Learn and assist in the morning startup procedures.
• Assist in all maintenance activities in and around packing facility.
• Maintain corrective action logs for all food safety control points.
• Support and perform the daily refrigeration equipment checks.
• Troubleshoots and repairing of pack line machinery and mechanical equipment; electric motors and pumps; hydraulic and pneumatic systems; roll, belt and chain conveyor systems.
• Routine preventive maintenance on production equipment and systems.
• Help update maintenance records and logs.
• Greases, oils, cleans, adjusts and calibrates equipment.
• Report all non-conforming control point values to maintenance supervisor.
• May lead and direct the work of others and be considered the lead on specific areas or units.
• Repair or replace defective parts, using hand tools, milling and woodworking machines, lathes, welding equipment, grinders, and saws.
• Must be willing to learn control wiring, refrigeration control and electronic configuration basics.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• Two years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• Work as part of the Titan Farms Team.
• Ability to life 30+ pounds multiple times throughout the day.
• Capacity to multitask and prioritize job requestions.
• Excellent oral, written, and organizational skills.
• Willing to learn new technology and new concepts.
• Must be able work long extended hours during production season including weekends and holidays.
• Basic knowledge of electrical and pneumatic machinery.
• Must be motivated and able to work independently as needed.
• Strong ability to collaborate and work as team is a must.
• Welding skills are a bonus.
• Bilingual (English / Spanish) skills are highly desired.
• Associates Degree in Industrial Maintenance is preferred but experience can be substituted in lieu of a degree.
